Camping with family or friends is always a fun activity. Beginner campers make checklist for camping so that they won't forget any vital items. The items must include water purifier if you are a cautious camper, baby camping equipment if toddlers are with you, and if you are adventurous don't forget to pack hiking equipment with you. The most important part of camping is camp food. Camp foods always taste much better than the food cooked at home. Easy meals should be cooked so that you can enjoy your vacation properly and relax. You don't have to spend hours in cooking food on camping whether you are cooking meal for 2 people or 20. Plan your meals in advance. Gather some easy camping recipes and pack the supplies accordingly. If you are cooking over an open flame you must need pans of cast iron that heats quickly. You will need non-stick sprays, tin foils and oven mitts. Don't forget to include a camping stove or grill in your list as they can do a lot of help.

You can take canned or pre-made foods with you. If you are going to prepare beef you can add many canned items such as jalapenos, ham or diced tomatoes. Bacon, eggs along with sliced tomatoes will make a perfect breakfast while camping. Make coffee to have with your breakfast and enjoy. If you have to feed a large group at lunch, make stews. It will take a little longer but less effort is required. Canned tomatoes, potatoes, corn, beans, okra, carrots, navy beans, cabbage and other vegetables that you like can be used to make vegetable stew. Create a base for stew with water and add vegetables then. Allow it to simmer and stir it. Use medium flame to cook. You can add beef or chicken in it but brown it before adding to the base. Canned beans and ham will do great for lunch with corn bread. Bake the bread in skillet and follow the instructions written on the box. Coat the skillet with non-sticky spray before you start baking.
Tin foil can prove really helpful while camping. Chop peppers and onions, add potatoes and some sauces that you like, mix salt and pepper and wrap in a foil. Toss the wrapped potatoes in the coals and remove after they are cooked. Don't forget to check it after every 10 minutes. |
